guys, i have a big rant. please give me advice/what i should do. it involves a stray bb cat.
          
          so i live in a neighborhood where there are a lot of stray cats. and i mean, a lot. there was this particular stray cat, around eight months of age. he wasn’t very skittish and he was actually lovable. so, i bought a food and water dish, a collar, a toy, and food for him. i let him stay inside overnight for a couple nights since we’re on tornado watch and we’ve had some nasty storms. i let him come inside for a few to give him some love. everything was fine until today.
          
          a lady knocked on my door and i opened it. she asked if a black cat with a rainbow collar was mine. i explained that he was a stray that i was feeding, watering, and somewhat sheltering. she then began to say that the cat was clawing at her screen door, meowing uncontrollably loudly, spraying around her house, and falling in love with her gray-and-white cat. she said i have two options: she would either find a home for him, or i could keep him inside permanently.
          
          he’s an outdoor cat and i’d hate to keep him cooped up inside 24/7. but, she has outside cats, and she had very loud dogs that bark day and night outside. and my stray has never sprayed around my house, peed in my house, clawed at my screen door, and he would only meow a couple times at my door before going off on his own way. it upsets me because there are tons of stray cats, so why doesn’t she try to find a home for every stray cat and not just my stray bb just because he has a collar on?
