They would NEVER message you directly like these accounts are doing-- don't get confused and pay attention. All of you leaving these messages of confusion on Reddit is ridiculous. It is OBVIOUSLY  a scam!!

@SeraDrake Oh, no, that’s awful. And no, I don’t think I’m following this person. Many of the people I’m currently following are all nice folks. Don’t worry! And as for your second comment, I’ll follow you!

@victorialassiter - My reply to this post was actually for the benefit of a certain someone I blocked MONTHS ago who recently got her account deactivated by Wattpad for spamming everyone she followed with her "Emergency! There are hackers and phishers on Wattpad! Emergency!" posts. (We all know about the situation. There is no need to spam). She's been spamming Discord with "I lost my account! Help! Emergency!" posts now - I clicked on one of the blocked posts to see what it was about (I'd blocked her months ago on Discord, too) and just rolled my eyes. 
          	  
          	  Because I don't want to call out anybody in public (it's potentially a ToS violation, depending on how it is phrased, and I know I'm tact-challenged), I won't name names, but she knows who she is. And if she is following you and can see this, this is from various Discord servers: PLEASE STOP.

@SeraDrake I actually never got an email at all. And I never (to my knowledge) violated the Content Guidelines or the Terms of Service. 
          	  
          	  They just deleted it without even sending anything to me. 
          	  
          	  I’m just lucky I remembered a few of my followers (including you) and I had my stories saved on Word. I’m also going to do it on Google Docs to have a second place.
          	  
          	  Yeah, I’m all over Reddit and when I’m not seeing posts about the Phishing attempt, I’m seeing that people have had their accounts deleted without warning like mine.

Hey guys!
          
          My previous account, @AmeliaWellis has been banned. I had this previous account from a few years ago, but I didn’t really use it for anything. 
          
          I won’t be putting any of my fantasy, fanfiction, or romance books back up here. 
          
          The fanfiction will go to AO3, and anything romance or fantasy will go on Inkitt. 
          
          The ONLY Wattpad book I will have on here is my nonfiction guide I had on my previous account. That’s pretty much it.
          
          I hope that’s alright with everyone!!

@SeraDrake Yeah, I think that's what happened. They must've flagged me as a bot. That's the only thing I can think of, considering I've never really had any escalating drama with other Wattpad users (I either disengage or fully block if needed and not escalate) and I don't write stories with any sort of mature themes either. 
            
            NONE of my stories were fully smut or had smut scenes. They were (generally) clean and wholesome with mild spice. And no, I don't think so.
