omfg keefe deserves her so fucking much. it's obvious because sophie can't be matched (flashback) and since fitz stated in the same book that he would never be a bad match because that would ruin his family's legacy even more after alvar's betrayal and all the other crazy dragging events. keefe, on the other hand has been with sophie since forever and was there for her when fitz wasn't. remember that time when fitz went totally psycho on sophie after he thought that she was the reason why alden was broken? yeah. who was there for her? keefe. keefe stayed with sophie when no one else did, and let's be real. tam likes biana (linh hinted at it, he even said that he preferred brunettes, and tam always gave sneaky glances that weren't so sneaky at biana when she wasn't looking. he ain't fooling nobody), and dex is forever in the friend zone so the only candidates to be sophie's potential bf would be keefe and fitz. also, when dex came out to sophie and revealed that he liked her (shocker), sophie was quick to explain to him that he didn't really like her. why? my theory is that sophie understood what dex was going through so quickly because she, in a way, was going through the same thing. being with fitz, for her, felt right. after all, fitz was the first elf she ever met, and he was the first to introduce her to all of the lost cities' wonders. enter keefe, resident troublemaker and 'bad boy' of the school. let's be real, some people might think that fitz and sophie will get together because that's the way it's been painted in shannon's (maybe sneaky) timeline. but seriously, the good girl x bad boy theme is really playing here. who took the initiative to start the window-sleepovers with keefe when he was feeling down about his shitty past? it was sophie. sophie and keefe are always there for each other, supporting them through rough times. sophie was the fastest one who forgave keefe after he went to the neverseen. *continued*
