" marcus  jackson , "   spencer  hummed ,   nodding  to  himself  as  he  moved  to  grab  the  case  file  off  his  desk  along  with  a  few  stray  papers .   he  made  a  mental  note  to  organize  his  desk  as  he  shuffled  different  papers  around ,   struggling  to  find  the  correct  ones .   " he  should  still  be  in  interrogation  in  the  floor  above  us .   i  can  lead  the  way  if  you'd  like , "   he  offered ,   tucking  the  file  under  his  arm .   " oh ,   uh —   i'm  dr.  spencer  reid . "

            “ Oh ,  right ,  I’m sorry . ”   Matt shifted his weight from one foot to the other as he stood a couple feet away from the agent ,  holding his white cane close to himself .   “ My client’s name is Marcus Jackson .  He was taken into custody about two hours ago ,  from what I know .  I need to speak to him as soon as possible ,  so if he’s available I’d appreciate it if you could take me there . ”   The lawyer’s sightless eyes shifted around the area in front of him from behind dark crimson lenses ,  taking in the different sounds around him to try and get an understanding of the basic layout of the facility by listening to where the sound broke and bounced off of different objects .  After a moment of silence ,  Matt took in a breath before speaking once more .   “ What’s your name ,  by the way ?  I don’t think I caught it . ”

" murdock , "   he  repeated  with  a  short  nod .   " pleasure's  mine .   i'm  dr.  reid . "   the  agent  gave  a  small  smile  as  he  leaned  back  against  his  desk  before  quietly  clicking  his  tongue .   " uh ,   there  are  currently  four  suspects  in  interrogation .   what's ,   uh —   what's  your  client's  name ? "
