i blinked and it's been a year?! what the hell  sorry guys i am SO busy BUT an aventurine chapter is being cooked up and it's already 5k words

no updates for a while, I'm afraid! school has restarted and i fear highers will be the death of me
          I've also been a little preoccupied with actual writing sooo
          i got an agent the other day, which I'm super super excited about! very surprised one reached out in the first place, but who am I to complain...‼️

honestly a little upset by hoyoverse's lack of representation skin-tone wise. with absolutely gorgeous games and insane attention to detail, hoyo's teams (especially genshin's) have such a wide and rich cultural appreciation of all the countries that regions or worlds are based on, from literally every element in music and design.
          
          These are utterly brilliant aspects yet they refuse to properly represent the cultures they were inspired from, and subsequently squander its company's success, reputation, and potential. I could spend hours talking about sumeru's representation issues, and probably natlan when it drops, and that's concerning.
          
          do better hoyoverse. you are a multi-million dollar company leading the world's rpg games. 

guys i swear I'm not dead I've just been super busy ^^ I've been hit with the ao3 author curse haha but my summer break starts in a few days so hopefully I'll get a new chapter of TSOSC out soon! 

came back from a 3 day expedition camping and sailing in the wilderness and somehow caught the deadliest sickness I've ever had

it's my birthday!!! and wuthering waves releases today too!! gotta sit my last exam today and then I'm free for another year thank goodness

arlecchino and her sig weapon may have come home but you know who didn't? aventurine that blonde gambler twink after ALL I've done for that man. expect heavy angst in the next chapters of anything I update.

regretting being hired for writing stuff because now I'm balancing two fics, my own novel (dubious) and commissioned poetry and essays
          
          you know its bad when you're capitalising on the time zone difference between the publishing house and your own country (i have about six hours to hand in work before they start to get suspicious) send help
