I am new to the world of writing and relatively speaking, I am also new to the world of reading. My partner who reads consistently, over the last 9 years, has worn me down and I've gone from  maybe 5 books I had read in my 20's to even being allowed my own book shelf now, next to the 2 and a half she uses.

The basis for my interests come in many forms, from military history from my dad and grandad to fantasy based things driven from my love of lord of the rings.

I am a big history nut and general geek. I am part of the UK's biggest Viking re-enactment society and have been for around 14 years. As well as a player of various table top games and video games.
