It’s gotten so easy to tell who’s using AI because why do so many stories - all with different genres, plots, settings and characters - have the same damn lines so predictable and boring. it’s just like reading the same book but with different character names. I tried to ignore it but it’s too much. Yall taking the fun out of Wattpad PLEASEEE

@vikki_minaj I just recently had to stop using chatgpt as an editor and switch to grammerly because it kept adding em dashes everywhere and telling me my writing was too explicit (especially in my book about the twins ) and it would turn away readers. Also it would switch stuff to be like. (It was a quiet night. To quiet. To still. To silent). Who talks like that?. Just tell where to put a comma. I do like to make my covers there though

I feel like AI use is just so obvious. The minute I call it out tho, I am “jealous” of their poetic writing. Girl, please. The weird similes and em dashes are such a huge clue…or the way the writing looks pretty but feels shallow. I write on here too and I know my work is not the most polished…but I believe it’s better than the generic stuff ChatGPT coughs up Iswr.
