loneliness is the worst punishment of them all. it would drive anyone into madness. everybody needs somebody.

⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀i’ve seen a lot. but this? this is something else. go on, give me the scope before it eats you alive.

it won't sit pretty in containment. that's for certain. ⁽ the light that bathed the lab was blinding nearly, and a buzz filled the air when the laboratory fell silent. tousled blonde hair was shooed away from his face. it seemed the specimen wasn't a fan of it's containment tube as it had began to bang both it's head and limbs against the glass in a attempt to escape. nothing had broken yet however birkins' body language suggested he didn't have too much faith in that glass. his already loose cherry red tie was tugged at, a habit that caused it to be crooked more often than not. ⁾

given how restless it's became i don't know if i have time for tests. if it escapes i couldn't tell you a thing about what it's capable of! ⁽ he collected his clipboard off the nearest table, removing his worn out pen from his coat pocket. ⁾ from what ive observed it seems to be aggressive. which could mean a variety of things including the body rejecting the virus meaning our vessel here will die. ⁽ a pause as the page was flipped. ⁾ a genetic mutation, or it's seeking a certain stimuli. it is rather cramped up at the moment but i couldn't risk transporting it. it's far too dangerous anyhow.

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ * kazik was very wary of the anomaly contained before him. his icy grey eyes flickered swiftly, shifting as he observed william with deep, calculating scrutiny. william’s talent was undeniable, but kazik sensed something lurking beneath the surface —⎯⎯ an unease, a silent warning he couldn’t ignore. the russian physician took a measured step back, folding his arms tightly across his chest, a subtle barrier against the unknown.

⠀ ⠀⠀“can’t take that thing to my lab,” kazik said, his chin jutting forward with firm resolve. “you’ll have to run the tests here. i can’t risk any exposure.” the sterile hum of the containment unit filled the room, the faint, eerie glow of the anomaly pulsing beneath reinforced glass. kazik’s breath was steady, but the tension in his fingers betrayed his careful control. this was no ordinary specimen, it was volatile, unpredictable, and far beyond any danger he’d faced before. every instinct told him to keep his distance, to trust no one, and most of all, to protect the fragile boundary between order and chaos they had barely contained.

so have i. enough to say i know what im doing here. ⁽ his expression betrayed him, blue eyes widening slightly in fear. who knew what this thing was really capable of.ᐣ untested and barely even documented it was hard to tell. ⁾ here — just take it.
