as a German I was quite shocked by the first line cause "Übermensch" is a german term that quite literally means a person who’s "above" or beyond—originating from the vision of Nietzsche (dead german philosopher) of someone who breaks free from society’s constraints to become their truest self. But GD’s interpreting it on todays generation; "Übermensch" is all about owning ones power, vaunting his freedom, and showing he’s a artist who doesn’t care about haters. Instead of just being “above,” he’s reclaiming it to mean he’s living unapologetically, proving everyone wrong, and leveling up on his own terms.
