          and the scene was significant in a way.  The killer stalks his victims, correct?  Well, the second victim had a child at a young age, so he thinks she's a slut.  He doesn't know the back story or anything, but he thinks she must've done something with a lot of guys.  They saw her with a young boy and wondered if he was hers because of the way Chelsea acts with her brother.  It just goes to show you can't judge a book by it's cover...a very emphasized moral that will be by the end of the book ;)

-status- yeah, it's been doing that.  sometimes, my recent comments tab even disappears for a couple hours.  it's just a glitch in the system, I guess lol

haha glad to hear you're enjoying it.  If you don't mind, I'm going to be a buzz kill and tell you it isn't Chelsea's dad lol I actually thought about making it him but that would've just been...wrong lol hope you don't figure it out so i can surprise you in the end ;)

Awe, thank you for that message.  I should get Number Nine updated soon; by Sunday, I'm hoping.  There should be more details at who the murderer is, but I make no promises ;)
