            Mal shrugs, despite the other not even looking at him. "How can I not want the attention of a super hot guy right in front of me? I'd be stupid." He scoots closer to Dom and wraps his arms around him from behind. "Come back to bed? I kinda want cuddles from my super hot boyfriend." 

(  @psychhaunts  )⠀⠀☥⠀⠀and you're insufferable.⠀[dominic grumbles, feigning annoyance in an attempt to ignore the flutter in his chest at mal's words. it's unfair, really, how easily he can get to him. just three words, and dominic’s mind is already in the gutter. and yet, he finds himself falling for it every time. only an idiot would prioritize video games over their partner, after all. even so, he can't resist the urge to tease him──even if only just a little.]⠀you really want my attention that bad?

            He tries to hide his surprise and embarrassment as he fumbles to catch the remote. "Are you sure? I mean, we can still watch one, I don't care. Either way, you can still pick."

(  @psychhaunts  )⠀⠀☥⠀⠀yeah, uhm──totally cool. i get it.⠀[dominic stammers out, fighting to mask his mild embarrassment by clicking out of the menu and backtracking to the home screen. he then tosses mal the tv remote, gaze settling upon him as he gets comfortable on the couch.]⠀you can choose the movie.

            "It sucks. I barely get to see you." Is the sentiment selfish? Absolutely, but it's the truth. Mal wishes he could take it back as soon as he says it, the words tasting bitter leaving his mouth. He tries to brush it off as he looks for a lighter, eventually finding one on his dresser and passing it to Dominic. "Sorry the place is a bit of a mess, by the way. With you working, I haven't really been expecting visitors." He gives a weak attempt at a smile. 

(  @psychhaunts  )⠀⠀☥⠀⠀holiday hours. boss has me workin' doubles basically everyday. stupid as hell but the money's worth it.⠀[dominic grumbles, emerald hues focused on the ceiling, tracing the streaks of moonlight spilling through the blinds. he takes a cigarette from the pack stashed in his pocket and slips it between his lips, before glancing toward his boyfriend and wordlessly offering him one, their eyes meeting briefly in the semi-darkness.]⠀you got a light?
