            virgil’s eyes widened at the gentle touch , out of instinct he almost pulled away but for some reason he didn’t this time , maybe cause he had a decent amount of trust put into logan .  one of the first of the ‘light sides’ to have treated him as essential to thomas , aside from patton , that is .  “ i’ll try but no promises .  ” he let out a small laugh , almost awkward in nature as he continued to attempt to slow down his racing heartbeat .  “ you’re surprisingly warm .  i mean—  forget i said anything !  ”

    logan carefully took virgil's hand once given the okay . he kept his grip gentle and light , leaving room for the other side to pull away whenever . logan would lead his hand to his chest where his heartbeat could be felt . `` you feel my heart beating ? focus on that . not whatever is going through that head of yours . this . `` he had remember reading somewhere that physical touch like this could be grounding to some people . so logan was going to try it out .
