as a black muslim girl , the shit im seeing fucking infuriates me. george floyd's death reminds me so much of poussey's death in oitnb and that shit scarred me. you've got poc protesting and they bought milk bc they already knew they were gonna get tear gas / pepper spray or whatever it was. but when dumbasses wanna protest against lockdown laws , the police just let them do whatever tf they want right because fuck people of colour right ? and if you have a massive fucking platform use it to spread awareness. so the fact that owen ' eye for an eye ' ovadoz who mind you , makes rape jokes and is very racist and rude , thinks it okay to dismiss the suffering and hardships of black folks in the midst of these tough times infuriates me. as if we dont have it hard enough already. seeing people talking bout #alllivesmatter pisses me off bc i know so many innocent black ppl who lost their lives bc of harsh stereotypes and the crooked criminal justice system. i myself have experienced discrimination from a young age and people turn against us and put the blame on us. no we are the not problem , failing to recognise your privilege is. i dont want to live in a world where people are hated for such menial things like race. and as a black girl whose experienced so much hatred and has had her hijab pulled off so many times , been called a somali pirate and beaten up , im not standing for any bullshit.
