'There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you', said a poet once. I don't know her, I haven't read any of her great works - but that one line hit me right on the nerve.
I was never a reader, never a bookworm - but circumstances
drove me to find comfort in the world of stories, in fantasies, and there began my journey.
I started writing once I hit adolescence. I started with a random love story, one that had no life then - no end, no structure - nothing. But for some reason, my readers began to show me that they loved it. That was all the encouragement I needed. The short, lifeless book took a 90-degree turn and became a thriller full of love and passion and life.
I could see myself budding out of my shell and become more bold and confident. That has now driven me to rewrite the book - put in more effort because I know my readers deserve it.
So my darlings, this is for you!!
Love, Amaria
