if anyone wants to know the brokenness of humanity & how beautiful the shards are when kept together ( for we are God's creation nonetheless — in all our most beautiful and ugliest forms ) then do watch "the house is black" a short iranian documentary by the famous poet, forugh farrokhzad about the leper colony of tebriz. she speaks of suffering with such raw poetry — she makes you wear the eyes of the suffering, the broken & the shunned of the society. & for a moment you realise a world so foreign yet so many people are a part of.

@GODTAPES it's not so heavenly as we think — it's also what society sees as hell, yet they are much closer to God at heart than we are

today a faculty in my college passed away </3 i wasn't there at the site but a friend of mine had witnessed the whole scene and described it to me. she was teaching her class, writing on the board when suddenly she announced she wasn't feeling well as she pressed against the side of her chest. when everyone thought she was having a case of low BP / sugar, it started becoming clear she was having a heart attack. she vomited, passed motion, eyes and mouth wide open as she tried to catch her breathe desperately fighting for life with her body — sadly she passed away in the class, in front of her students who witnessed death for the first time in their life.

          It made me think how fragile life is sometimes — how we dont expect the things we go through. each day is a miracle, each day is a case of uncertainty. and even then we strive towards something — maybe it could be passion, love, joy, happiness. and while life is a reminder of such striving, death is a reminder of rest, humility and glory. that regardless of the greatness we hold we are all equal in her eyes. and regardless of how much we have fought in life: either against it or for it — death brings rest for the tired, and glory for the ones who've fought for their life's purpose.

          her duty as a teacher will never be forgotten. it will be a reminder for me & the rest of our students, how great she was & how wonderfully she taught us the toughest of subjects. she was an amazing teacher that deserves all the love and glory for having done her duty with such humility

                                         just something i wanted to share.

@skarrederr so true , live life to the best without much stress — sometimes we take it for granted , which can so much worse </3

@GODTAPES

            Truly life is so precious, the biggest responsibility is perhaps to use the time we have wisely and appreciate and be grateful for even the little things

            may she rest in peace ♡
