Book:
The Art of Seduction by AntagonistPains

          	Review:
This book was beautifully written. It has so much depth that you can truly feel while reading. For me, I mostly felt anger because the main character makes stupid decisions based on a childish mindset. But that’s the beauty of this book: you follow her growth and understanding of things. It has beautiful unique interactions between characters, but if you are interested in the supporting characters, the author has made it so that you read her other books; thus you won’t be able to find out exactly their endings or what they went through in this book alone. I found that it was a bit of slow burn, regardless it was perfectly adequate to the tempo/flow of the book. In my opinion, this book could have been longer and explored their relationship more towards the end; suffice to say, I was a bit disappointed with the ending. But considering that this book doesn’t really explore love, in the sense of when it focuses more on relationships, sacrifices and the beauty of love, but rather on the character development and plot.

Book:
          “Luciano”

          Review: (spoilers may be included)
I found this book refreshing in some areas. The writing and characters felt more unique and well composed. It had very lovely moments, some that I will always remember. However, it feels like it is missing so much information and conflicts are never solved and some questions are never asked. The girl is this book has been one of my favorite characters because of her strength and determination. Which is why I felt like it was so strange when she didn’t work with through Luciano when conflict came up and just brushed it aside with “love”, and also another thing is how she just willingly decided to build a family with someone from a mafia when literally her parents were just killed for being connected to them. Also it’s so weird how he just took her in with no reason, like it was never explained why he would take care of her at all. But trust me this book is still good, their connection is amazing and I never read about love in such a way. In terms of smut, it is very romantic and has only occurred twice throughout the whole book.

Book:

Quite honestly, very boring. I'm not a hater on simplicity, quite honestly I love it because it gives room to build up characters and really explore their emotions and circumstances. However, when it came to it, everything: characters, plot. flow were all very shallow and basic. There were cute yet cliche moments, nothing actually stood out in these stories.

Book: “Don’t tell Daddy”

          Review:
If you’d like to read this for the spicy parts, then I recommend just jumping straight to them. Even though there aren’t many of those parts, the book itself still lacks in plot but not in the way you would think. When I say it lacks in plot, I don’t mean it lacks plot, in fact I think it has too many things happening at once and none them are well executed throughout the story. It had absolutely no character development, a flow of events, and it is just weird. It is incredibly boring despite its failed attempt of multiple plot twists. It screams cliche yet the dark type, which shows up whenever the story starts getting monotonous. It feels very much like a car ride where the person hits the break every 2 seconds.

Book:
          Roommates

          Review:
It was excruciating to read some parts of this book. There were pervert commentary between siblings, stereotypical characters, cliche-yet-disgusting plot points, and no character development. I found it incredibly difficult to follow some of the chapters because of Nichole’s stream of annoying thoughts that screamed the not so quirky yet irritating trope: “I’m not like all other girls”. Not worth it, don’t read it.

Book:
          Breaking the Bad Boy

          Review:
I found this book extremely heartbreaking at times, and that is exactly why it’s so good. It envolves much more than an incredible romance between childhood friends, it adds grief, guilt and courage. The story may move along using classic cliche tropes but it still feels very much unique. The friendship that blossomed along a beautiful soulmate connection were my favorite parts to read. It definitely is a bit of a slow burn book in terms of romance. I felt that much of the book only centers around the the main couple and only when I reached the end I fell in love with the others characters; for that reason, I wish I got know more about Blake and Mona.

          Review:
I absolutely loved this book. It had so many steamy scenes. And it was exciting to dive deep in a completely diverse world created by the author. Although it requires a bit of patience at times, it is absolutely compensated by the well written plot twists and characters. In my opinion, the characters fall in love with each a bit too quickly for my taste and some twisted morals normalized in this alternative reality were definitely not easy to disregard.
