          Ya but we live on a dairy farm and our cows each have a place in our hearts but only a few are what we call pets. We don't own chickens or pigs or sheep but same things but even horses we don't know hurt us to see them go in the prime of there life but I have to say there are more horses than houses and a lot of them can't be trained or there to mean and dangerous so please slaughter is not bad they don't give them food unless the factory isn't working because then the acid is working which is bad meat then but they will always have water. But I think they should never be abused. Please I know this for a fact. Sassy1000

          Thanks. And I think it's because horses are seen as pets, where cows as chickens etc usually aren't.

You are such a good writer with horse stories and you can capture the underdog side very well. But why do we matter about horse slaughter? Cows chickens and pigs get slaughter and no one thinks twice but we care for horses cause we can do so much with them!
