even when you die, you don't actually die. you leave a legacy behind, one that'll keep people saying, "hey, i knew her." and those people will spread the legacy. your death could mark the beginning of something huge, like the next world war, or something small, like a family ceremony in your honor. the only time where nobody will know your name will be when your family has died, the roots of the tree cut off, and when there's nobody left to carry your name on their lips, in their hearts. it sounds unfair - different people vary in the width and the depth of their legacies - but life never was fair, so there's no point complaining. at least there still is a legacy. a legacy will always outlive you, no matter how hard you try. and that's something wonderful. creating something that's made out of you, yet will outlast you. and a legacy could just be a name, a deed, a phrase. something simple that will turn into something big.
