V.B. James crafted her first novel at the age of twelve after convincing herself that she was having real psychic dreams. She was one with many colorful dreams and felt that she was gifted them by God for a reason. Feeling compiled to share them with others, she was somehow never able to articulate the dreams as she truly saw them.

At this moment, V. B. decided to put pen to paper and create a literary canvas that displayed an array of colors through words. These words transport audiences alike through the depths of her mystifying mind that teases and toddles on the brink of an undefined "imaginarium" with every word read in her works, Casualty and Cameo.

Though V.B. will forever be a Texas girl, her heart lives in books and movies. If she's not working on her latest novel or screenplay, you can find her reading, watching movies, or indulging in her unhealthy addiction to rockstars concerts.

Finding it hard to juggle her professional Recruiting career at a Fortune 100 company with her true passion, she decided to pursue her dream. No, not as a psychic, but as a craftsman of words.

Enrolling in classes at SMU and Collin County Community College was a no-brainer, but attending film/screenwriting seminars hosted by industry leading writers, directors and producers around the country was career-defining and resulted in competing in competitions around the world including Hollywood. And now, as they say, "the rest is history."
