I don’t really ship Kaeluc either, I play Genshin  on the English version so I was introduced to them as adopted brothers, so I wasn’t aware of the actual translation from the original dub,the Chinese version or Korean version of the game I forgot,apologizes . I did my own research and you are right, it is a trope in BL dramas. So yeah things do  gets lost in translations.  I will also admit I also didn’t want to ship it because I was introduced to them as being adopted brothers in the English version. I didn’t know about what their relationship actually is in the original dub of the game  but I understand now why people ship them, Simple translation errors like that do get lost pretty easily.

i want to clear up some things because the message underneath is from a user which has been harassing me for quite some time now. 
          this is their third account they've created, only to spit straight up lies.
          if you don't believe me then i can provide you with plenty of screenshots i took, too.
          
          1) someone under the comments of the user asked what happened and i explained the situation + how they were personality wise in my dms. i didn't talk bad about them, i stated facts. 
          
          2) only because mondstadt is based off of germany (/eu countries), it doesn't mean it makes chinese culture's influence invalid. also, kaeya isn't even from mond + some names like diluc or varka aren't even related to german. there are a bunch of i.e. traces of nordic mythology seen all over the nation.
          
          3) let me take a look at 義兄弟 again, which kaeya calls diluc in the OFFICIAL MANHUA, put it into a translator (i used pleco, a rlly good chinese translator) so y'all actually can test it yourself. and oh surprise, it translates to sworn brother. 
          no idea what they're talking about when they say "the company themselves have confirmed they are brothers" because when did that happen and did people actually consider asking the chinese part of the company themself? the ORIGINAL and OFFICIAL creators of this game? who wrote all the lore and characters? 
          
          4). i genuinely don't get the part with "you deny that i did call you slurs"? you called me slvt, wh0re and told me to kms and i never denied that??? moving on
          
          5) how am i supposed to have a decent conversation with them when they keep calling me names and say i'm a liar? what's the point of having a conversation with them then. plus, why should i believe they're black lmao?

I’m just coming here to make somethings clear, I literally forgot about you. But I’m going to clear out some miscommunication on YOUR end. First of all I want all of this to be known by everyone that this literally started because I asked, ‘aren’t they brothers’ in your book Motive. YOU then started accusing me of being racist for invalidating Chinese culture. I would also like to say that if you mute and block someone, stop talking about them. It's cowardly to mute and block them, just so you can continue talking about them. I'm sick of getting notifications from your stupid ass book.
          
          So before I did any arguing, I did my own research and surprise! You were wrong.
          
          1. Diluc and Kaeya are characters based in Mondstadt, a German inspired country. Wtf does Chinese culture have to do with that? In Germany, incest is punishable by law, you will be charged for a sentencing of 2 years in prison. It’s illegal. You should know this since you ARE German. Right? or are you lying yet again?
          
          2. Let’s say that mihoyo, a Chinese based gaming company, isn’t being accurate to German culture and law. They have still claimed that in emails in live announcements, that they are brothers. Yes, translations can be wrong and confusing however if the company themselves have confirmed they are brothers then you the consumer have no say in anything.

i don't care how nicely people ask but telling an author "omg please update [some book]" is rude. 
          just stfu, you have no idea what's going on in that author's life + it makes them feel pressured. 
          and trust me if i say you absolutely don't wanna read a bad written chapter because stress can worsen everything.
