lowkey thought darkling would be a shadow daddy but the more i read into siege and storm the more i'm upset with shadow and bone and want to dnf, but i'm lowkey crushing on this dark and mysterious non-shadow daddy and kind of evil character. he's giving, but he's nooot.

i shouldn't be crushing on someone who tried to / threatened to skin alina aliveeee ?!

should i finish watching bridgerton s3, or start reading siege and storm ??? idk, i'm enjoying bridgerton, the colin and penelope storyline is making me anxious to read bridgerton books, but then again, i cannot afford the time of starting to read another series. x

finished throne of glass (first book in the series) and i'm so fvcking anxious for the main character ?!? holy shiiii- anticipating reading the next book, but also want to delve back into some other books soon. gotta organize my tbr tonight. x

find it really weird but also interesting and lowkey fun how i'm reading throne of glass after acotar. it's such an eye opener to the fae lore and what predates the sjm world of faes and just overall lore in her other books. i know they're somewhat unrelated to each other / separate series with related lore, but people advise you read throne of glass, then acotar, THEN crescent city according to the many posts i've seen so i thought that was interesting (i was just too excited and read acotar series first)

voltvri

@wishfuIthinking yeah, a bit biased for a few characters, but i won't elaborate any further until you've read it !!! for sure a read worth trying out if you enjoyed throne of glass, because imo it's hundred times better. hope you enjoy (-:

@wishfuIthinking i'm just starting throne of glass, but acotar is probably my favourite series, in case you couldn't tell by the profile! (-: the first book is kind of insufferable (probs 2/3 stars out of 5) but the rest i give five stars, my personal favourites being the second book!!!

okay, i finished reading shadow & bone, as well as a few other books these past few weeks (but that's irrelevant, i'm focusing on shadow & bone in this announcement.) did anyone else, and i don't want to be mean by saying this, find that shadow & bone was very, very slow-paced/lackluster in comparison to the other books they've read. like, i found it to be more dull in relation to the plot. there were some interesting bits, and i did enjoy it, but it wasn't my favourite book i've read. not sure if the series gets more interesting??? i've heard it does???

(this is just my opinion as someone who has been divulging into reading these past few weeks/months/years, please don't come for me/try to start arguments in the comments, i'm not trying to pick fights!!! i'm just commenting my opinions on books as an avid reader, you don't have to agree with me! (-: )

voltvri

@wishfuIthinking ofc ofc, i'll definitely let you know/keep you updated!! (-:
