It's been 8 years.

I was 16 when I first published a story on wattpad.

Intrigued, fascinated and simply in admiration with the ability writers could put the rawness of human emotions into words, I wanted to be just like them. I started penning under the name, rojeu.

Though I have long stepped away from this world, I still remember the friendships I've forged, the excitement of reading fanfiction, and all the up and downs we witnessed here, within the blurred lines of reality and fandom.

I may be 24 now, but I've never truly figured out the 16 years old rojeu sitting inside of me, who was wishing for a solitude, away from the real world. Writing, as horrible as I was at it, was the escape for my inner child.

You will find stories on my profile that are still in the 16 year old's penmanship. Putting aside the quality of writing, I hope you find a reconnection with your inner child as you read, and rekindle the emotions that once lit up youthful days.
