[the kraken sinks down, their body pressed tightly into the basin which they found. eirik’s tentacles seemingly tucked against the cold walls, trying their best to hide and push every inch of their body away to disappear.] the sprites were picking away at my tentacles, so i decided to tuck in here until they ran away . .  i didn’t think you’d find me here, hei hei.

⏤⏤     ࣹ⠀@studiousIy  ꓹ⠀⠀heilyx’s nose would scrunch,  quite perturbed when their previous study session was brought up..  of all things he'd remind them─  it frustrated them,  somewhat.⠀˝ cause you looked like a lil’ seal..  making that puppy face pisses me off. ˝

          he turns himself further away,  quite literally giving them the shoulder.   he huffs, arms crossed tightly as he hunches over, taking a half-step away.    ``   hmph.  you said that last time but still came.   " 

 私の最愛の人へ   ✧   @voracities:  maybe, [but the real answer was no, eirik didn’t particularly mind all those times they had been teased by both of the twins. however, they don’t mind to draw that narrative by a pout slowly befalling their features, a lone nod following after.] of course, i knew you would be hungry. you always had a huge appetite even when we were little   . . you’re still hungry, right?

 私の最愛の人へ   ─ ✧   @voracities,  i was only kidding, [did the teasing go too far? the kraken seemed to shrink underneath the scrutiny, a display only left for the serpentine’s eyes to see. cold, dark tendrils go to lightly press the edge of the other’s lower leg, as if it would convince that bit of irritation to dissipate. eventually, the tentacle goes to wrap smoothly around heilyx’s waist, before another goes to suction a lone   (but large)   fish into the student’s palm.] it’s odd to not see you both together, but here  . .you can take as many as you want, hei hei.

@lefthenest    ︲    hearing how pleased she was,  to witness the twins being well and alive..  made them sob under harsh breaths.  unfortunately,  they were the only ones who had ever survived amongst the clutch,  they've paved their way just to survive.  those hurdles that came beneath such struggles was naught but mortifying to relive through.  heilyx could only savour her familiar warmth,  such a sweet and nostalgic one,  they'd hope it’d be forevermore.⠀  ˝  yes,  but i would have loved..  to spend more time with you,  mama.  ˝  ⠀an eye had briefly shut upon her idle swipe of digits,  catching forlorn dewdrops.  muted sniffling follows.  ⠀˝  it was scary being alone out there..  i'm sorry,  they're all gone.  all gone...  ˝⠀  those memories they have long abandoned,  resurfaces.  and it the prominence of their aching,  brought by the frightening reality they've forsaken.

@voracities  [the tone in heilyx’s voice is close to breaking her heart, unable to contain herself from tightening her hold around heilyx. bringing them close, nestled by where her heart was. she leans down, lightly nuzzling the top of the youth’s head.] i know, my dear. i’m sorry  —-i had no choice, i never wanted to leave you. it was for you and your brother’s own good. [she swallows down a lump, but the thought of abandoning them again only made the guilt grow deeper inside her chest. could she just leave them now? ████ had to, it was for their sake, nestmother reminds.] look at you two and how well you’ve taken care of one another, i’m so proud of you two. [an index finger rises, swiping away the tears that stain their cheeks. a solemn look,] you don’t need me anymore, the two of you are both well grown and no longer need my care.. 

@lefthenest    ︲    ˝  m—mama..  ˝⠀⠀the tone is weak and brittle,  once she's come near the tears..  brought forth a foreign warmth to them,  it broke down the dam;  as arms desperately gathers nestmother’s figure.⠀⠀˝  m.. mama,  why did you leave?  it-  it was scary,  i don't want you gone again...  ˝

@voracities  [amused, seraphel merely watches the twins begin to argue, but her hand presses on either of twin’s head in order to signal the end of their dispute. bringing the both of them to her trove, the space which she took to nurture the young that were now swimming amuck around her. the nestmother couldn’t help but smile, a certain fondness, rather maternal as she gazed at the sight.] i will eat once the two of you finish, you needn’t worry. mama has already eaten her share, [but even a school of fish would not be able to satisfy her, but that does not deter her from letting her children have their fill. they needed to be strong in order to leave eventually from the nest, and her hand goes to nestle against each one of their cheek’s before pushing them closer to the dead fish.] go on, there is nothing to worry for. now eat.

@lefthenest    ︲    leaning into her side,  their smaller conjoined figure was completely dwarfed by the much larger predator;  who held both through cherishing care.⠀⠀˝  i gave caelux the last one...  i don't want them getting hungry.  but now i am hungry!  ˝⠀⠀complains the young.  yet caelux,  on the other side..  had taken offense from such a false claim.⠀⠀˝  no?  i wanted to share with you──but you insisted.  ˝⠀⠀they'd reiterate.  as soon as they arrived within the comfort of their homely nest,  the twins swam;  bewildered of the sight where a mountain of food resides their heterochromatic orifices.⠀⠀˝  but mama,  we should eat together!  ˝⠀⠀heilyx adds along a curious tilt,  whereas caelux gave an approving little nod.

@voracities  we can’t have that, now can we. did your siblings take all the rest of the largemouth bass? [ ████ inquires, eyes narrow briefly as she looks down at her young, but a grin soon settles. her tall figure leans down, arms quickly collecting heilyx into her arms as they move through their home. the own hunger in her stomach lurches, but as she had collected enough food for everyone, she looks at her own pile and hums.] eat as much as you want, my dear, this is for you. [a small lie that would hurt no one, eyes crinkling as she let’s the other swim free from her grasp.] (?) hm   ..i’ve already eaten, don’t worry.  

@voracities  what am i, a stress ball? [it was a joke, but kisaragi was almost sure that heilyx would be inclined to agree with such a statement. it causes for a scoff to escape, but he ultimately settles down when a cold palm rests against his hip. kisaragi’s heart lingers on the serpent’s words, it’s hard to forget when the other would state they’d never ..  well,] i like you when you’re nicer, [perhaps it’s the lack of argumentative conversations, not that he particularly minded in the grand scheme of it all.] then it sounds like it wasn’t entirely horrible, [fingers card through turquoise tresses, massaging the sea creature’s scalp as he thought.] is there anything more i can do? [and it’s the first time it felt like he was reaching out to anybody, but kisaragi felt inclined to make the offer, perhaps a bit more than just out of the goodness of his heart.]

@world618    ︲    ˝  squeezing you helps me.  ˝⠀ it was a frivolous display of the serpentine,  to admit such affections could render them acquiescent.  they are still adjusting to these customs,  the concept somehow grasped..  although,  their vulnerability was shown out of trust.  hearing the flesh eater’s response had somehow eased the settling throes of sorrow.  a larger hand had purchased the pliable side of the blonde’s waist,  allowing the furthered inclination.  heilyx listens attentively,  and the embrace considerably tightens out of their nature of protectiveness.⠀ ˝  no,  i don't want you gone..  i will always remember you,  kisaragi.  ˝ ⠀solemnly they express,  leant into the comforting palm pressed to their cheek.⠀ ˝  i'm unsure if i could even call it a bad dream..  since it fills me with sadness that somehow feels heartwarming.  ˝

@voracities  [it was unlike heilyx to be so docile, but kisaragi for once, held back his words. biting back his tongue, and instead all he did was let green orifices linger on the taller individual. the flesh eater wasn’t particularly fond of being handled like a doll, but he doesn’t even form a reply when he’s pulled to the carnivore’s lap. instead, all he does is let his finger mess with the pocket near the left side of the other’s uniform, finding the question odd, but eventually catching his attention.] i do, [kisaragi starts,] i dream of no longer existing, like i’ll have my body lost in some fracture and nobody remembers me anymore. this body of mine decaying—-   [it was a horrifying thought. one that he tried to forget everytime a nightmare came to remind him what could happen to him,] did you suffer from one as well? is that why you’re like this, [hand rises, palm gently rested against heilyx’s cheek. rubbing their skin softly, thumb rolling gentle circles.]

@voracities        i can be gentle, you don’t believe me? i can show you, (✿◠‿◠) just trust me. [kisaragi mused, head leant forward as his eyes stare up towards the taller figure. it almost felt innocent, but anyone would have known better than to trust his pretty face. a frown falls,] fine. [he agrees, but admittedly irritated as he’s squeezed and nuzzled as if he were a toy.] you’re so difficult to please, do i have to become a chew toy until you’re satisfied? enough, enough! before i bite you—-

@world618    ︲    ˝  no,  don't wanna.  when you bite,  it's so aggressive..!  ˝⠀ heilyx expresses,  the enervated tone trailing off along with the arms which had lackadaisically wrapped around the blonde.⠀˝  i just wanna squeeze you,  can i,  can i?  ˝⠀their cheek playfully nuzzles against the top of his head,  squishing their frames together.

@voracities         a little piranha?      [kisaragi repeats, green irises staring at the other, but the student’s mouth presses together to refrain from how tempting it would be to take a nip at heilyx’s arm.]      if you do that, then i think i deserve another bite again. would you be okay with that? hmm..

@voracities  [the embarrassment is noted, and kisaragi can’t help but have a wider smile drawn onto his lips. the platinum-blonde’s head tilts, eyes flickering to the edges of heilyx’s ears that turned red.] i am, especially when all you’ve done is use it to your advantage. [the student replies, a scoff. a hand rises to ruffle the other’s hair,] what? don’t bite me—-! 

@world618    ︲    the audacity of him to laugh at their predicament..  heilyx flushes out of spite,  the roseate tint rushed to the tips of their ears. ⠀˝  why are you laughing!?  this isn't funny,  i really hate this!  and you're oddly happy about me not being taller now!  ˝⠀ even the serpentine’s height wasn't safe from such a chaotic spell.

@voracities        it’s just —-      [a pause, a small snicker couldn’t help but escape. kisaragi’s eyes follow the subtle shift in heilyx’s expression, their irritation  (?)  evident.]      i think you’re a little shorter now too, did the witch cast a spell that effected your height as well?
