heres a sneak peak of chapter 10 of "In the Land of the Blind" : "Scott felt like a new man. He was riding down one of the main roads in his cruiser, which had been returned to Harare along with his boat by SOU personnel. The sun was shining, and as was typical of a Zimbabwean early winters day, there was not a cloud in the sky. He had the roof off and was enjoying the cold wind against his face. It numbed the tingling pain he still felt where his left eye should have been. Earlier, immediately after his discharge from the hospital he had been picked up and taken to headquarters where he was ushered into Colonel Shepherd's office, and offered a seat across the large desk. The Colonel had offered Scott his sincerest condolences on the loss of his eye and his other injuries, at the same time placing a form in front of Scott. It was his discharge papers. "
