Hey there,
I wanted to drop a msg regarding the latest msg posted on my board; the one about books romanticizing rape.
I had posted the msg reading reviews by some users, who were quite assertive about the book being insensitive to victims and shiz. I had not read the book myself (extremely bad move on my part).
But recently some readers have approached me, the one's who have actually read the book. They are claiming that previous users bullies, who target and attack authors, forcing them to they take their book down. The users are claiming that this is all fake accusations in retaliation to what they said to author.
Idk who is correct and who is lying, so I've decided to delete my msg and apologize to everyone, who had responded. I am sorry for delivering information without cross checking the facts. It wasn't my intention to bully someone.
I have withdrawn from the whole situation but I'll let yk if I ever get to a conclusion.
I still stan by my statement that rape shouldn't be romanticized. So I've made a reading list for books who romanticize rape and abuse (dw I have read this books). It would be lovely if you could go through it once and try spreading awareness against such stuff.

@icantwink the ones who have texted me are apparently author's friends, who are doing this in spite of revenge and shit. They have taken step ahead and are bullying the users on Instagram. I honestly don't know who is correct here at the moment. But all the negativity and politics is affecting me. I read your msg about how you had that book in your library. Pls go ahead and read it, if you want to, don't let my previous msg hinder your choices❤
