So I’m black and everybody always says that black people don’t need sunscreen, even black people, even me. That is a lie, everybody can get skin cancer, but most people believe that black people don’t burn. I believe that there is a point in the concentration of melanin that keeps you from burning. I also believed that I had that concentration of melanin. Turns out I don’t, guess who burnt her nose at the beach?
