hii ive been writing for years and ive been struggling with how i write. like for example, people say make unimportant things that don't help the story brief and that's what i've been following. but at the same time i dont know whether i should write those unimportant things out or not because i dont want to spend a whole three paragraphs talking about someone's morning routine i usually make it brief. But i just can't seem to agree with myself on keeping it the way it is now or actually writing out the unimportant things if you get what i mean?

uhhh i wouldn’t say i’m experienced at writing so my advice might be shit but what I usually do is just skip the whole thing e.g. say “After I finish my morning routine where I showered, brushed my teeth and ate, I left the house” Just to not bore the readers. if you wanna keep your morning routine that’s honestly fine I don’t see why you can’t, just make sure it’s engaging by including internal thoughts and/or thinking about the most recent events! So if the ‘unimportant thing’ doesn’t actually contribute to progressing the story’s plot, just keep it brief!
