I messaged you first, and when you weren’t willing, I had every right to be annoyed - yet I still didn’t out you. this is a issue I’ve faced multiple times in the last few months and it’s beginning to grate on me. I didn’t @ you or state your fic, only warned my followers from doing this in the future. so no, this was not escalated, which it would have been had I mentioned your name, but I didn’t out of respect and privacy. if my followers found your book and commented, it’s because they also recognised immense similarities, which should help you reflect on why I found this such an issue in the first place. I cannot control what my followers comment or say on my msg board, so no I am not promoting violence or singling you out. none of this would have been an issue if my work wasn’t copied, and I was professional and polite about this the entire time. many writers would not have been the same.
