Is it just me that finds it weird when people make magic in their stories require any form of talking\chanting\whatever?
How does the spell connect with vocal commands or cool sounding incantations? How did people realize it worked that way? Like, did someone suddenly conjure 300 fireballs in the middle of them reading a poem?
