I bought the book “Artemisia” by Alexandra Lapierre at a thrift store a while ago after reading just a bit about her life and just now I’ve gotten to reading it. I have only read the Preface but just by the poetic description of how the author discovered Artemisia Gentileschi and her journey to write this book, I can tell these are the best five dollars I’ve ever spent in my entire life
