Hi everyone.
          
          It's been a while, more so than I originally planned. As with my last update in August, I've been working on chapter 12 for A World Alone. I had some issues along the way, including writer's block, work, attending school full time, and, unfortunately, family drama. To make a long story short, my grandfather had an accident in the fall, which worsened his dementia and other health problems. Then in late March, he passed away. While I'm glad that he's no longer in pain...we have family drama. Essentially, I no longer communicate with his wife and we may never see a proper burial and memorial service AKA the things grandpa wanted. Needless to say, that really hurt me and I'm still grieving.
          
          Wow, that was really hard to put into words, but I wanted to share this with you all because I still see so many notifications for my HBO War works. While it's always made me happy to see engagement, it has brought some sunshine into my many stormy days of 2023. Furthermore, I did want to announce that I am *still* writing and I am hoping for a July update or two. (I am drafting a LOT right now. Maybe I'll release deleted scenes once I complete the story? LOL.) All I have to say is that I can't wait to share more with you guys! Especially since I'm getting closer to writing my favorite part of this story. Yes, I am still grieving and I still have life commitments (a job and continuing education), but nothing will stop me from finishing this story...even if it takes awhile!
          
          Thank you all for the love and support you've given me for the last couple  of years. I will always appreciate you guys, and I hope you're excited for what's to come!

Hi, everyone! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to give you a quick update. I am still working on chapter 12, but things may slow down because for the past few weeks, I have been preparing for fall semester of graduate school! It'll be my first semester, too, so I'm really nervous about that. However, I think I'll do okay! A coworker added me to a Discord server for fellow students, so that's been helpful! Yay!
          
          As I have mentioned, however, writing/updates my slow down. Unfortunately, I am a student first and foremost, so I can't focus on writing as much as I want to! I swear, I need to graduate ASAP so I can just focus on one thing (employment/general adult responsibilities) and not be in a constant state of stress due to various variables. Seriously, being a full time student with additional responsibilities absolutely suck. S/O to any student who simply has too much to do. Things will get better and easier, I promise!
          
          That's all I really have to say as of right now. As always, thank you for your love, patience, and support. You guys keep me motivated in many aspects of my life. Keep being awesome as always. Now, back to the writing process for AWA's chapter 12!

My thought process as I write AWA: I need to give Madison as many slice-of-life moments as I can because she deserves it.

Hi, everyone! I just wanted to give a quick update. First, I apologize that it’s been awhile and that AWA hasn’t been updated yet. June was a very busy month with my health scare and my grandma fell—l’ve also been busy with work. It’s been a lot, but we’re all doing a little better now!
          
          I am still working on AWA chapter 11. I think it’s at a good spot to end, but I want a little more content to it. In the past, my chapters have been, on average, 20 pages long. Right now I’m in between 10-13 pages. I’m trying to decide how long I want chapters to be now. Length is not entirely important (quantity is), but I want to give you guys as much as I can—especially since you’re all very patient!
          
          I’ll review the chapter the next time I’m able to sit and write. I’ll likely try to expand a little more but once I edit, I’ll be sure to publish chapter 11! I want to publish later this month and, hopefully, it’ll happen! I’ll be sure to keep you guys updated.

I am not making as much progress as I want with A World Alone. It happens when you're balancing work, play, and dogs. My parents have a puppy that I take care of when they're working and I'm off and man, she is high maintenance! I love her, though. She's very cute and keeps me company when I'm in a slump, which happened this week.
          
          Don't worry about me, though. Even if I'm not making as much progress as I wish, I am still writing, which is what truly matters! 
          
          I hope everyone is having a good week--and enjoying my stories! I've noticed traction with We're on Each Other's Team, and that people are still reading A World Alone. That's so exciting! It's definitely helping me keep motivated as I write chapter 11.

Hi, everyone, I have excellent news!
          
          I am reading chapter 10 (the next chapter) of "A World Alone" and I am satisfied with how it's turned out! I believe I am finished with the chapter. However, I am going to reread it a few more times to make sure it flows and the content is how I want it before I publish it. Expect an update sometime tomorrow or by Wednesday, June 1st.
          
          So sorry that this update got pushed back so far. I didn't mean for the update to be in late May, but I had to do some personal things and did some major revisions for not only chapter 10, but I also revised "We're on Each Other's Team" and "A World Alone" (although, AWA is pretty strong, I think!). Now that I'm done with that and things in my life are slowing down, I hope I can focus more on AWA!
          
          So, as a reminder, sometime between 05/29-06/01 is when chapter 10 should be officially released! Until then, have a great weekend.

Exciting news: I'm almost finished revising We're On Each Other's Team! If you haven't reread it, I suggest that you should. Not only do I like to reread stories from time to time, but it'll be a good idea to refresh your memories too. :D 
          
          I'll probably work on the revisions for A World Alone very soon and after that...we should have a new chapter in the following weeks! May is my goal of getting the next chapter published, so I hope I'm able to obtain the goal! Good thing I have six pages of that chapter already written, LOL!
          
          Thank you guys for being so patient with me. I know you've waited a looooong time. Believe me, I have as well! I've really missed writing about Maddie Klein. I thought about her every day! I am committed to finishing her story. Then I'll cry after that, LOL.
          
          Who knows, maybe I'll write some one shots or drabbles of missing scenes from WOEOT and AWA. And maybe some stuff about life after...?
          
          I'm getting ahead of myself, but I do have a lot of ideas ;)

I'm trying to garner ideas on changing my story covers for my HBO War stories...the downside of Wattpad LOL.

Hi, everyone! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to briefly update you guys of my plan for writing my main HBO War fics. As of today, here is what is going on:
          
          1. I am currently revising "We're on Each Other's Team (WOEOT)." I have noticed some bad grammatical concerns that either a) Google Docs or b) myself did not notice when I originally published the fic. How embarrassing! I'm also adding some other content to some chapters, but not too much. I like how it's overall written and I think it will serve well against "A World Alone", my ongoing story.
          
          2. I will also revise "A World Alone" to make sure information is correct and that the organization/flow is still solid. I will admit--I really enjoy my writing style for AWA so far! I can't wait to see how my writing will evolve from that.
          
          3. I am rereading some of the memoirs I have from the real men. This is to refresh my memory of life after WWII, and I like to reference to that when I can. I suppose we can call those "Easter eggs" since we all like to learn things that were omitted from the shows!
          
          4. I plan on revising my Pacific fic. When I reread it a few weeks ago, I noticed that some content I have is missing. I think this is because when I was first publishing Matt's stories, my computer and files were corrupted. I'm still so mad about that, but I also have new ideas LOL. I will be sure to go back and revise Matt's story when I can! In the mean time, you may see that information reflected in WOEOT or AWA. ;)
          
          I am also working part-time. I need the money, especially since I got accepted into graduate school, which starts in the fall. (Whoohoo!) This agenda may push back the publishing dates, but I don't think it will be too bad. I think I should be able to update AWA sometime this month, so keep a look out for that!

Not me rereading my BoB fic and thinking “damn…I should rewrite this”  I think it’s good but now that I took my long break I’m like “wait, I got more ideas than I did when I was younger” LOL.
