I am a terrible content creator.
          
          So, yeah I guess it's been a hot minute or two since I've spent any real time here on Wattpad. I stepped out for milk and got turned around. No. Actually, near the end of 2019 I took a job a radio station group here where I live. I became a copywriter and assistant to both the sales and production departments. While it has been a blessing to work at a place where I am allowed to write and be creative-to an extent-it has also been crushing in how mentally and emotionally draining the position can be. My average day begins before dawn and ends after the sun has set...usually about 10+ hours. And then, between work life and family life, I've been left with little to no writing life left.
          
          But, it's a new day and new year! I have vowed to make more time for my pen and paper, to get back to the projects too long abandoned, and to cease my indirect and unintended disrespect of you, my fellow creators, readers, and peers.
          
          I hope you can forgive me for my too long absence...if you're still around. If not, hopefully this reaches you somehow and draws you back to this space we share.
          
          Thank you for all the support you've given me in the past and thank you, to those of you who have reached, for your past, current, and future encouragement.
          
          And now...back to our regular scheduled programming.....

It’s Post Day!  Well, it’s actually Saturday.  But there’s a new chapter posted!  So...Post Day.  Just a few minutes ago, the next chapter of my Stargate story THE END OF BEGINNINGS was uploaded and is now ready for your amazing self to read and enjoy.  Wait, you didn’t know you are amazing?  You most certainly are!  And it isn’t just because you’re here, now, reading this or my story...though, that may play a small factor.  You were already amazing before you got here.  Really, my day has only improved since you arrived.  So thank you for being you.  And thank you for checking out my work.  Your support is beyond valuable. With keys in hand and a nudge of my shoulders, the door to this blog pop’s open.  It’s the first time in months I’ve ventured across its threshold.  The air is a little stale and lights are taking just a second longer to flicker on.  But everything is still here, just as I left it, waiting for me to return and continue on with what I had started.
          
          Life gets busy. It takes us away from the things we want to do while the things we need to do dictate the priorities of the hours and days at hand.  It doesn’t matter much now.  Hopefully, a better balance lies ahead.
          
          This whole little thing seems like a silly delay to you checking out the newest chapter of THE END OF BEGINNINGS I just posted.  It was a little long so I broke it up into posts.  And, with it being a holiday weekend, I figured it was the best time to post both parts.  So, while you’re relaxing and escaping from family, friends, the world at large, kick back and check out Chapter 30 of my ongoing Stargate story. Good Thursday to you!  I definitely have fallen flat on keeping up with this little... “blog”-thing. I’m going to be better.  I promise.  In the meantime, a new chapter of my Stargate story THE END OF BEGINNINGS is up and ready to read.  It’s actually part 1 of the newest chapter.  I think there’s going to be three parts to it.  Things are getting tense in the Pegasus Galaxy.  The new enemy is about to be revealed, but not in a way you might expect.  Stay tuned to see how the situation unfolds.

A month ago, it was Saturday.  Actually, it’s been Saturday a few times since then too.  But, it’s Saturday again.  And I’m celebrating this Saturday by having posted a brand new chapter of THE END OF BEGINNINGS.  I’m excited.  I know you probably are, as well.  It’s cool.  We’ll be excited together.  Especially since this is the second new posting in two days.  I know, right?! So now comes the really fun part.  You read them and let me know what you think. Happy Saturday! I hope this weekend finds you well.  It’s been a busy couple of weeks here in the desert, and it looks like the weeks ahead are going to be little different.  That’s okay though.  Busy can be good.  I’ve started working two interesting jobs.  They’re different and challenging compared to what I’m used to, which keeps them appealing to a degree.  Sadly, they have definitely taken a chunk out of my writing time.  Today’s post was a short chapter, but hopefully still exciting for you.  Check it out! I can’t wait to know what you think of it and the rest of THE END OF BEGINNINGS so far.  Hopefully, the next chapter won’t be delayed too much.  In the meantime, enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Today is Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019.  Hump Day.  And, this day is definitely proving to be a heck of a hump to scale this week.  I’m feeling pretty down today.  A media personality that has had pretty profound impact on my life over the last six years passed away yesterday.  His death is unexpected and nothing short of heartbreaking.  But, I know in my heart he is at peace and laughing up with his father in a far better place than this world.  I may not understand the frustrating randomness of this event, but I take solace in knowing that God’s love and peace is far greater than my understanding.  This day hurts, but there are far better days that will spark and blossom from this one.
          
          In the meantime, I wanted to make sure you knew that Chapter 17 of my Stargate story: THE END OF BEGINNINGS is complete and posted.  I broke it down into three parts since it went a little on the long side.  Check it out.  Enjoy it.  And remember to vote on it and leave a comment so I can share in your excitement.

It’s Tuesday, January 22.  It’s been cloudy and cold here in the southwestern US, a good day to get caught up on things.  Most importantly, a good day to make some posting progress on my Stargate story: THE END OF BEGINNINGS.  I just posted chapter 14, with 15 on the way in a day or two.
          
          It’s been a stressful few weeks.  The details are...frustrating, especially since the real-world issues have kept me more distracted than I’ve wanted to be from this project.
          
          But, yay!  Here, at last and after more delay than I would have liked, we might be getting back on track.  Thank you, so, so much for your awesome and continued support.  Please make sure to vote and comment on this new chapter...or any other that you read.  I definitely look forward to hearing from you!
