@simpsforjohn it’s mostly just his silence about palestine really, it’s a very sensitive and important topic for me so it just doesn’t sit right with me that it’s been four months and he didn’t speak out about it or use his platform to spread awareness, especially since he said that he was going to educate himself on it three years ago. and a few days ago he posted a picture of him with a bigmac, which if you don’t know mcdonalds is one of the biggest companies that we’re boycotting. what really threw me off is that he deleted the picture almost immediately after and he didn’t even attempt an apology or acknowledge his mistakes in any way. so yeah it’s really just that, it’s my personal opinion, i can see why everyone else is still staying in the fandom, i know that he means a lot to everyone and he did to me but after everything it just felt a little icky <3

palestine is still suffering!! boycotting is not a trend, posting about it is not a trend. please keep talking about palestine! use your voice!!!
