I am a 30 year old "Southern Belle" with a flare for travel, art, music and cooking. To be honest, writing has never been my strong suit but I love to read.  Reading and painting are ways I find to release any stress that I may have. Working with victims of domestic violence can be stressful at times but I find it rewarding because I have been there before and I feel that I am helping someone regain their independence. I am hoping that maybe I will be able to test the waters and write something when the time is right. 

Music has always been a part of my life and I could't imagine my life without it. My favorite artists and bands include: Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, One Direction, Bruno Mars, Zac Brown Band,Pearl Jam, No Doubt and Maroon 5. I  have a soft spot for 90's pop (Backstreet Boys, NSync and Britney Spears) and music from the 60's and 70's. 

I love movies and going to the theater is one of my favorite things to do. I have so many favorites but my go to films include: Dirty Dancing, Wizard of Oz, Steel Magnolias, The Godfather, Halloween and Forrest Gump. I also really enjoy Disney, the Fast and the Furious series and James Bond. My favorite actors are Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Johnny Depp and of course Tom Hiddleston. My favorite actresses are Kate Winslet, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and Anne Hathaway. 

My Favorite books are The Joy Luck Club, Like Water for Chocolate, The Great Gatsby, Little Women and Phantom of the Opera. I am getting back into Shakespeare and love Jane Austen.
