Possibly one of the weirdest story concepts that seem more like some dnd campaign to me, I don't have any of the details because I discovered it on my old phone but I apparently have some starter paragraph of it so here.

"We see the clouds in the chill night sky as the moon in it's waning crescent shines dimly on a blue mass, reflecting the light in retaliation like a war between two celestial bodies. In between the crossfire of light, a swift shadow gleams in its path forward into the sky, it's body unmoving in the silence of its metallic wings flapping through the winds. It continues to soar with its eyes searching, scanning, looking for something unbeknownst to us... until a landmass within the sea of blue peaks from the horizon."

It says that the setting is in both a floating tech-based island and an underwater city located in a cavern and that the idea/concept is that a group of people go out and discover the mysteries of their ancient flooded world where their civilization harvest what they can off of their synthetic farms and what they come across in the sea using flying metallic birds? that's what seems both weird yet cool and makes me want to write it but I'm too much of a lazy asshole.

Oh my fucking God I just had a dream of this tv style story that was amazing and now I wish I could remember every fucking detail of it but no my brain loves to tease me. Though I did seem to have an idea of what its about and I believe it presented the title to me in some introduction sequence, like I said it was tv show style type shit and again absolutely amazing so I'll be destroying my brain all summer trying to figure it out.

I have no fucking clue what I'm hearing, I have time to work on my books in class but these kids are talkin bout a cousins husbands brother and cookies... In geometry, this is very distracting.

So I'm going over like ten to twenty concepts of stories that could write but I never dedicate enough time wo writing even a draft of such so how should I do this? I have been writing a story and I have become a bit skeptical of my writing and the overall plot that I've developed. I was wondering on if I should finish at least five chapters, publish and get some feedback before I immerse myself into making the story or write a good draft of it, get necessary feedback and then heavily edit the book.

Out of the hundred people that for some reason follow me at least 3 should have some helpful advice, granted I could talk with friends about this instead but no I'm too much of a terrible person to socialize.

@weirdfloofy Yes I see well I do have a pretty long to describe idea of the story and characters along with how they continue on jus just the details of it are constantly jumbled around to find a good foundation to build the like 4 to 5 characters of it. I can't say I'm passionate about the story, yet it haunted my mind for five years and I just want to get it out there and see what crazy coaster of a ride I'm putting myself on. Its sad that I have such overly imaginative creativity but I can't find the motivation to express our but I will take your advice and go with it.

@weirdfloofy okay that whole thing was a mood. And yeah, speaking from personal not-completing-a-book experience, write a few chapters first. Then see if you're actually interested and passionate about it. Make sure that you really enjoy or really relate to the characters, it's important in making you want to continue it through writer's block. Plan a fairly detailed outline as well. And I think that your plan is pretty good.
FYI I'm not exactly a stellar writer, but I finished one book and I'm taking this from my mistakes there and on the ones I died on halfway through.

Just wait they might rearrange a lot of stuff and make it look more like a social media app than a app where stories live.

Yes people are spreading the survey idea. I shall find a way to communicate with most of the community before making a proper petition which may require me making some website or what not in order to get information.

Anyone have ideas on making a petition for everyone to access?
