          ADHAMY’S POV.
          
          Feliciano and I dashed through the forest, desperately awaiting freedom from these lifeless, walking bodies all around this ruined town.
          
          “W…We’re never gonna make it out, are we.” Feliciano gasped, panting from how tired he was. 
          
           “Stop thinking like that, just try to be optimistic!” I responded back, getting quite annoyed with being stuck with Feliciano. I knew if I left him he would most definitely die on his own, but I would probably lose my sanity by myself trying to get out of these dire circumstances. As we progressed further, more thoughts ran through my head- ‘Why me, and what did any of us- innocent civilians do?’ I even had a few theories that I thought of. 
             
            To begin, I thought that maybe the government could’ve done this, or know something about it. I’ve seen way too many videos on Youtube and TikTok saying: Imagine if the government does something like this to reduce the population on Earth, as the world is overpopulated, babies being born left and right. Heck, some say it's raining cats and dogs, but it’ll probably be raining babies soon depending on how many people are in this world. That's just a theory though. Anyways, back to this horrible situation and dumb-witted boy I'm with.
          
          “Are we  almost- AH!” I heard a yell, and quickly turned my head to see who it’s from. “Feliciano…” I gasped in shock. He was bitten by a zombie! I quickly took my ax out of my bag slung across my shoulder, and struck the zombie in the head. It groaned loudly, before falling to the floor, followed by a loud THUMP. Then I saw it. The place where Feliciano was bitten was bleeding profusely, and my heart sank. I knew it was too late. I grabbed my ax, and impaled myself with it, watching tears stream Feliciano’s face. I committed suicide because I couldn’t watch my own best friend turn into one of those rutheless, brainless monsters. At least he’d have a free meal, right now.
