Autumn Diaries Mini Awards has started judging! I am the judge for Best Plot and Best Plot Twist. Since I do not have time to completely read 20 stories, I am asking all participants to create a storyline/plotline, consisting of a few paragraphs, that give me the contents of your story–from beginning to end. I am not judging writing style or SPAG, just plot or plot twist, whichever you entered.
You will send this to me privately so you are not spoiling the story for your readers! There are several ways to communicate with me in my bio. If none are acceptable, please share it using a Google Doc with permissions granted. I will delete it after I do the download.

Post Apocalyptic world where surviving humans are miniature dragons. Sci-Fi/Teen/YA
Clover was born a dragonet and is still a ‘child’ at the beginning of the story. Another dragonet, Tasha, is injured while trying to save newly hatched dragonets. She is taken in by the aliens now living on earth, who the former humans are terrified of. Tasha escapes after two months and the other dragonets shun her. Clover is furious with the flock for doing this. When the healed dragonet returns to the aliens voluntarily to hunt the creature that attacked the nest, Clover decides she wants that to. The story shows Clover’s progress as she chooses an alien handler and becomes a bonded animal who hunts the monsters. The story ends happily, with the handler finding out she is sentient and the two having their first conversation.
