I love the earth, the oxford comma, & babe the pig
guide to a few of my reading lists (in case anyone needs recs!) happy reading!
r • modern, sometimes sharp sometimes soft. Has a different writing style than a number of other books. Some poetry. Things I read when I'm hard and sweet and independent and feeling fierce, feeling free.
q • my absolute favorites! Read more than once! Comfort books!
hard to pin • does one genre pin them? Probably not... often classic lit bc I've analyzed it into eighteen different genres
social • tell a good friend, or a not-so-friendly friend, or anyone! May come up in a conversation over coffee. Appeals to masses (or at least I think they would!)
ee • influenced by Eastern European countries... Russia, Poland, the Baltic areas, et cetera. Typically dark and containing elements of fairytales/fantasy
d • refers to diversity. for all my peeps sick of reading about white boys & dogs (not that anything's wrong w/dogs). Books that aren't just about white ppl and how great & terrible their lives are & books that don't stereotype poc characters into 'the token' poc. Also contains lgbtq+ characters, disabled characters, characters w/ illnesses, et cetera
