Writing is like a hiding place. A refuge. We write all that we don't have the courage to speak. A character is never just a character. It's a part of you. And you're part of a character. The character you created, or your favorite character of all time. We create profiles on the internet, we nickname ourselves, and we write everything so that others can read. It's kinda like a personal diary. But instead of you being the main character, the protagonist is someone you would love to be. Or even someone who you are, but no one really sees.
