Hey dals, it’s me Nancy!
I have missed you all so very much! I am so sorry for losing contact with heaps of you, and for abandoning Extinguisher. It’s absolutely crazy how fast time flies. Can you believe it’s been almost three months since I was last active on Wattpad?
I have, unfortunately, lost the motivation to continue with regular updates on Extinguisher. And yes, if you were wondering, it’s true: you will most likely suffer from writer’s block if you stop writing for more than a month. ):
So after much contemplation, I have decided to take down Extinguisher. Firstly, I needed to take the pressure off me. Balancing a complex social life, family, school, homework and other commitments was already stressful enough, but to add writing to the mess will only change my passion into a chore. And secondly, Extinguisher is my personal project that just doesn’t feel ready yet for public eyes. This novel is full of personal touches and resemblances of my life, and as selfish as it sounds, I want to write for myself for once. Maybe one day I’ll gain enough confidence to re-share my project with you, but for now, I want to work on it at my own pace and in my own time.
I’m not sure how many people are still reading, but thank you for your cooperation. Hopefully I’ll see you guys soon.
