@aromastatic seen it, few chapters of your book. The poem sets a romantic tone to your book. Expecting a love twist. But that's not the real story you selling on your book. So you can refine it to sooth the message of your book, or use it as an illustration on a topic in your book. That's my  opinion to your question.
