Can I just say this one thing real quick?
Basically, it's about the "Phandom." Now, before I get slaughtered by angry fangirls, I want to say this: I have no problems with A) Dan, B) Phil, C) LGBTQA+s or D) Shipping.
What I do have a problem with, however, is the CONSTANT shipping that happens within the Phandom.
Like I said, I have no problem with shipping. But what really grinds my gears is when you go into the comments section of every video of theirs and all you see are people going hyper over the fact that they held eye contact or looked at each other whilst one of them is speaking. Last I checked, that was common curtesy.
What I'm trying to get at is that it's basically trying to force them into a romantic relationship. It's no secret that they live together and are really great friends, and naturally, some would start to question their sexualities.
I don't know about Phil, but I know that Dan has said explicitly said on multiple occasions THAT HE IS NOT GAY. And people should respect that.
It's one thing to think that they would be a fantabulous couple, but quite another to pressure them into it. Hell, I think they would be a nice couple if they were both gay. But at least one of them is not, so it's not happening.
I'm not trying to insult the Phandom, or anyone for that matter. I'm just trying to say that while you can ship fictional characters all you like, maybe try to have some limits on real people? With real feelings?
I'm sorry, this has been on my mind for quite some time.
Does anyone agree with me?
Or have I just managed to annoy a ton of people?
