cassie is a witch, a witch with a hidden darkness within her. her grandmother was a witch who mainly used dark magic before she died, and gave cassie a necklace that she didn't know would keep her powers in control. without it, she would lose that control if she felt any type of strong (negative) emotion and things wouldn't end up good. she's trying not to let the darkness overcome her, but she doesn't know how long she could keep it that way. besides that, cassie has been friends with ethan, benny, and rory since they were younger.

they're her best friends and she's willing to do anything for them, along with sarah and erica. she's involved with dealing with all things supernatural in whitechapel with her friends, and honestly she just wants everything to go back to normal. she wants to BE normal, but we all know that won't happen.
