@Pacific-Blood vampire academy is a young adult novel paranormal romance series about a half vampire ( dhampir) names Rosemary Hathaway, who gets taken to an academy full of of vampires with her best friend Lisa dragomir who is a full vampire that drinks blood. Rose is trying to become Lisa's guardian ( someone to protect losa) from Strigoi which are evil vampires. 
            Ross's love interest is a former mentor named Dimitri. Lisa's love interest is a 'bad boy's of sorts.
