Hello,
I hope you’re doing well. I felt compelled to write to you after reading your work, as your stories truly left a strong impression on me.
Your writing is incredibly gentle, warm, and calming. Reading your stories gave me a sense of comfort and love that is honestly rare to find. Locked in Permafrost was the very first book I read of yours just a few days ago, and I still haven’t been able to move on from how beautiful it was. It truly stayed with me.
I wanted to ask—very respectfully—whether you are open to translation requests. I would be deeply honored if you would consider allowing me to translate Locked in Permafrost into Arabic, as I would love to introduce your work to Arabic-speaking readers who would truly appreciate its softness and emotional depth.
If possible, I would also love to know whether you might be open in the future to translations of Daddy by Choice and Corinthians as well. Of course, I completely understand if this is not something you are comfortable with, and I truly appreciate your time either way.
Thank you for sharing your stories and your talent with the world. Your writing has already meant so much to me in such a short time.
Warm regards,
Lauren

Thank you so much for your kind reply. I’m truly very happy and honored by your permission, and it means a lot to me.
I would be honored to translate your works. I will be publishing the translations on my Wattpad account, and of course they will be 100% free and available only in digital format.
I would also like to share that I am a graduate of the College of Languages and Translation, and I fully understand the professional ethics and responsibilities that come with translation. I promise to translate your work faithfully and professionally, without adding, removing, or altering any part of the original text, while doing my best to preserve your beautiful voice and style in the story.
Once I begin working on the translation, I will make sure to stay in contact with you and keep you informed.
I will also keep the original title and use the original cover for the translated version. If possible, I would truly appreciate it if you could send me the cover via email when convenient.
I will clearly state that I am the translator only, identify the work as a fan translation, and provide full credit to you along with links to your original work and your account.
Thank you again for your trust and generosity. I truly appreciate it.
Lauren

@1ren1_01 as long as you release them for free in only digital formats and identify them as fan translations with credit and links to the original work, I’m okay with that. I plan to publish print on demand versions in English but I think it’s highly unlikely I’ll ever get them officially translated to Arabic and it would be a shame if readers who want them can’t get them in their own language.

Last night, I finally came up with a new scenario I wanted to pursue and today I got 3,000 words into a new Christmas story for Andover House. It’s sending a little love to the childfree by choice crowd. I don’t have much spare time, but these stories tend to take over my brain and demand to be finished, so I think you can look forward to it soon. I hope you’re all enjoying the holidays!

Hi! I just found you and your books! I’m absolutely loving Daddy by Choice! I just finished up with the flamboyant Carl! I saw your note and I’m wondering if you are going to write his story? He so needs a fated mate!

It’s been a while, but I’m almost finished with the next Andover House story. This couple is taking their time, so the story keeps getting longer and longer. I’m pretty sure y’all won’t mind. I’m letting you know to put pressure on myself to get it finished. ;-) Who wants another Andover story‽

Omegaverse writers have to ponder the question of what makes a mother in a different way than most. I don’t think of it so much as a gendered term so to me the one that gives birth is the mother and the sperm donor is the father, regardless of gender. That’s the terminology I choose to use in my books. But I have no argument with those who choose differently. There is something that happens to you when you carry a child in your body for nine months that makes this term feel like a hard earned honor. But in real life, we don’t always have a birth mother close by so I’ve also come to believe that a person can never have too many mothers, and whether they adopted you, or you adopt them, they’re precious people who nurture your growth and leave a lasting imprint on you. I’m fortunate to have many amazing adopted mothers in addition to the one who birthed me. And I’m blessed to have grown children now who helped shaped me every bit as much as I did them. Happy Mother’s Day to all those who nurture with the heart of a mother.
