There’s a very well-known writer on wattpad whose stories I bet almost all of you have read at least once. I used to read their work too, especially in the beginning but then I caught her lying and stopped reading her stories altogether. I’m not going to name her, but I genuinely feel like she's seriously deceiving their readers, and that’s why I’m writing this message. I’m not trying to spread hate but stealing someone else’s writing from the very first word to the very last and passing it off as your own is obviously not okay, right? Especially when you don’t give any credit whatsoever and claim those writings as your own. I didn’t realize it at first either. And honestly something about their stories always felt off to me, the questionable behavior of Taehyung, Jungkook having absolutely no self-respect, the normalization of patriarchy, and so on. Because of all these things, I eventually stopped reading their stories. Yes a lot of people write stories with these kinds of elements, and maybe my own stories contain some of them too. I try my best to avoid that in my writing, but at the end of the day, the main thing is *how* you present it, whether you recognize problematic behavior as problematic or whether you make it look good and romanticize it. Anyway since that author and I share the same first language, I was able to catch her lie through social media. Some funny roasting posts about the original works suddenly started appearing in front of me (I literally never read romance books other than Taekook ones) when I read those posts, I immediately realized that It's her writings. Intrigued I went through all the reviews on that page and guess what? I found the original versions of several of that user's stories. And honestly I’m starting to think that all of their books are copied. She doesn’t seem to take inspiration from other writers she directly copy their work. I’ve never come across someone like her.

@aarataekoi I want to but she has over 2.5k flwers, she can turn them against me and get me reported (tho I've got proofs of what I'm claiming) and I fear if I expose her ppl will bash her a lot and It'll leave her a scar or lifetime trauma. But at the same time I badly want her to realize how wrong it is to steal others works even if It's a trash and lie on your readers face (she legit says on her massage board "guys ydk how tough it is to write a book" I be like sure gurl it is indeed so tough to copy a whole work then translate it using ai, pasting it and then claiming that its me who wrote it all, Clap. Not everybody can do that and act so nonchalant about it) who are trusting you and giving you popularity.

Heard sm*t censorship is back on wattpad. Wattpad has banned se*ually explic¡t content. It’s so frustrating, this app is a sh*t. I post on both ao3 and wattpad and I constantly worry about wattpad taking down my oneshot book since it contains sm*ts. Ao3 is a much much better platform than this clown orange app, people should leave this app and move to ao3 where people can post and read whatever they want.
