my biggest advice honestly is to already have some kind of plot in your head before you start. it doesn’t have to be fully finished or perfectly planned, but you need a clear picture of where it’s going. because once you start posting chapter by chapter, it’s really hard to change things later if you regret something you wrote in the beginning. readers follow along in real time, so you kind of have to stick to your decisions. And it helps a lot to write , if you already have everything mapped out in the head!!
also try to make your storyline unique. Think about what you would want to read. that’s what makes it stand out.
and for tiktok, cliffhangers are EVERYTHING. post small dramatic lines, tension scenes, arguments, anything that makes people curious. make them feel like they need to know what happens next. don’t explain too much , just tease it.
and don’t worry about running out of ideas. if you genuinely love your story, the motivation usually comes back. just start. you’ll learn so much while writing.
