Hi, I just wanted to say something. Yesterday I read your New Life story. I was sitting in the car, it was raining, and I was reading it. I couldn't tear myself away from it. I've never read anything better. To be honest, my life is exactly the same as Eve in 2017. What I would give to have Dave as my best friend. Would there be any possibility that there would be an update? It's the best I've ever read <33

absolutely devastated to hear of andy fletcher’s passing. i can’t wrap my head around it. he helped to create the soundtrack of my high school years. my heart goes out to his family, as someone on ig wisely put it, with or without the music, he is a husband and father above all else. i cannot imagine what they’re going through. i hope all my dm friends on here are doing alright.

it’s my five year anniversary of being on this app! holy shït. i downloaded this goofy lil app five years ago today over easter break because i wanted to read and write about my favorite band, depeche mode, and meet likeminded people on this app. as i got older, my obsession grew from just depeche mode to duran duran, the beatles, queen, and various other artists from the 60s-80s. i’ve met so many kind and talented people on this app over the years, which is super awesome! i’ve also got the chance to write and have my stories be well received. i’m so thankful for every positive comment and like my works have received. this app has let me be myself, and has let me share my writing, albeit somewhat anonymously. i’ve also read amazing works on this app- there are tons of talented people that need to be published asap! i’ve really enjoyed these past five years, and let’s hope i start to complete more works of mine!
