I've been writing since I was about 14. I had a play picked up by my local theatre when I was 16 which was excruciating to watch. After that I started writing for some local newspapers before going to University to study drama. After that I travelled and worked some more as a journalist and informal press rep for various small companies. After than I attended a course on practical journalism and started working as an editor for a press agency. During this time I travelled a lot and saw many different things that opened my eyes. Particularly in South America. On my return I started working for a language school as their press and marketing officer before being made redundant. Now I own and run my own publishing company - WildWoods Publishing which specializes in new writing and Scottish-centric themes. I recently published my first book - The Highlands Trilogy.
