Yesterday we lost a fellow driver to an accident mid race. Anthoine Hubert, a Formula 2 racing driver has died in Belgium in the fist couple laps of the race at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. My prayers are with his family, friends, and team.
When we race, I and everyone has to know that we are putting our lives on the line and that a single mishap can cause a lifetime of tragedy.
Everyone thinks that racing is safer than it was before but the reality is that in motor sports there is no way to avoid things like this. They will keep on happening unfortunately.
I myself am putting my life on the line every race I drive in, and that if something happens I could end up not being here the next day...
Anthoine... We miss you... Take care and say hi to Senna for us...
